REGINA. Leila Menchari designed this for Hermès in 1972 to honor Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to Paris. Regina means queen, and Menchari answered that charge with a lush floral bouquet that bursts from the silk like something that cannot be contained — every bloom rendered in exquisite detail, the colors rich and layered, the pink border framing it all with the ceremony the subject deserved. 100% silk, hand-rolled edges, the classic 90cm carré.

Menchari was Hermès’ window designer for decades, the woman who turned the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré into a destination. When she designed a scarf, she brought that same theatrical vision to 35 inches of silk. This one was made for a queen. Wear it like you know that.
